I know I have a ton of big fans of Queen and this is for you! I’m Rick Hunter.

In May of 2002, the Rock/Classic Rock/Top 40 hit Bohemian Rhapsody by the British rock group Queen was named favorite UK single of all time in a poll conducted by the book Guinness Hit Singles.

For the honor, it edged out Imagine by John Lennon, and also topped his former band The Beatles and their biggest hit single, Hey Jude, which placed third.

Bohemian Rhapsody is a single from their fourth album A Night At The Opera.

At the time, Bohemian Rhapsody and A Night At The Opera were the most costly single and album to record.

In America, Bohemian Rhapsody achieved the rare feat of two separate stays inside the Top 10 of the Billboard® Hot 100.  It topped out at #9 in August 1975, then again in 1982 it climbed all the way to #2 from the subsequent revival in its popularity from an appearance in the movie Wayne’s World.
