The revered lead guitarist of the greatest rock & roll band in the world (The Rolling Stones, if you hadn’t heard) hasn’t wasted any time since the group’s 15-city Zip Code Tour wrapped up last week in Quebec City, Canada, eh?

In preparation for the release of his first solo album in 20+ years, ‘The Keefer’ attended a promotional listening session for the set yesterday (7-21) at New York City’s Electric Lady Studios.

Hosted by his new record label, Republic Records, the ‘let’s check it out’ (and see what Keith Richards looks like close-up) event was mostly attended by those of the music industry ilk.

The new album, titled ‘Crosseyed Heart’ is the first solo recordings by Keith Richards since 1992’s ‘Main Offender.’

One day prior to the album’s scheduled release date of September 18, a new single called ‘Trouble’ will be available – presumably for download only.
