The two surviving members of The Beatles will be rockin’ the Motor City just three days apart, after another concert has been added to Paul McCartney‘s extended 2015 Out There tour.

Following announced dates for Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH (10/13), Bryce Jordan Center in State College, PA (10/15), Air Canada Center in Toronto, ON (10/17) and Buffalo NY’s First Niagara Center (10/22), McCartney will also play Detroit’s Joe Louis Arena on October 21st.

And, as timing would have it, the latest tour incarnation of fellow ex-Beatle Ringo Starr And His All Starr Band is playing in Detroit just three days prior – October 18th at Fox Theater.

The latest edition of the All Starr Band includes: Steve Lukather (Toto) – vocals, guitar; Richard Page (Mr. Mister) – vocals, bass; Gregg Rolie (Santana, Journey) – vocals, keyboards; Todd Rundgren (Nazz, Utopia, The New Cars) – vocals, guitar; Warren Ham (David Gates, Cher, Donna Summer, Kansas) – vocals, sax, keyboards; and Gregg Bissonette (David Lee Roth) – drums, percussion.

Ringo & company are also playing in Toronto, at Massey Hall on October 20th, just three days after McCartney leaves – meaning, there’s a common off-date while both in the vicinity, and that’s October 19.

Suggestion – with one another traveling to their next gigs in opposite directions between Detroit and Toronto on the 19th, perhaps Macca and Ringo could meet halfway for lunch (at one of the famous Tim Horton’s Coffee shops?) along the major highway thoroughfare between the two cities – the 401. Why not?
