I Wanna Be Santa Claus was a 1999 holiday season single from Ringo Starr, and also the title of the Christmas album – and his twelfth studio release.

The song was co-written by Starr, the record’s producer Mark Hudson and Dean Grakal and, along with the album, released on October 19, 1999.

Despite high critical acclaim the the album, it wasn’t a commercial success.
